George Sexton Associates provided lighting design services for the renovated exhibition galleries of the Andy Warhol Museum, a dynamic art center that provides access and insight to contemporary and pop art. Several aesthetic and functional requirements were critical to shaping the design direction for the lighting system including integration with architectural elements, systems fl exibility, and control of illuminance levels. In keeping with the aesthetic vision of the museum, the lighting design is easily maintained and provides the flexibility needed for a museum with a variety of ever changing exhibitions and special events.
