At the request of the Art Gallery of South Australia, George Sexton Associates engaged in the design and specification of artificial and natural lighting systems for existing galleries. The goal of this project was to improve the energy efficiency of the gallery systems while enhancing the visual experience for visitors. The renovation included upgrades to artifcial lighting fxtures, gallery laylight ceilings, and skylight systems. The daylight solution included treatments to existing clerestory windows and new laylight glazing.
